Meaghan Minogue found yoga 9 years ago to fulfill a Physical Education requirement in college. The practice of yoga deeply resonated with her and continued her practice long after her class was over. Upon moving to New England 6 years ago to continue her education, she took a hiatus from her practice as life demands took over. As soon as she completed her education at Johnson & Wales University, quite literally she immersed herself into practicing yoga 5 times a week. Inspired by teachers at Mystic Yoga Shala and elsewhere, she knew there was another element to the practice that she was missing. Meaghan headed to the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica to the Nosara Yoga Institute where she received her 200-hour yoga teacher certification in February of 2007. Meaghan's practice is also influenced by renowned teachers Ana Forrest, Baron Baptiste and Shiva Rea. You will find in Meaghan's class a combination of holding poses with flowing poses to experience the balance of strengthening the body and moving prana (life energy) through the body by allowing the breath to guide your inner experience.
