200 HOUR Blissworks YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

Blissworks Yoga Teaching School offers the teachings of an alignment-based asana practice with a heartfelt theme based in the Tantric tradition of yoga. We use postures, breathing techniques, mudras and meditation to help the student leave feeling better than when they arrived.
This in-depth yoga study will give you an opportunity to deepen your yoga practice and grow as an individual.

All classes are intended as face to face In-Studio classes

Requirements:
• 100% attendance at ALL training weekends is required
• Participation in at least 1 yoga class per month with Trish Reyburn (outside of the teacher training weekends). This is a total of 10 classes and the cost is included in your tuition fee.
• 5 hours of practice teaching on your own
• Student must purchase the following textbooks for the course: (Required reading)
1. "Meditation for the Love of it” by Sally Kempton
2. “Yoga Anatomy” by Leslie Kaminoff
3. "The Heart of Yoga" by T.K.V. Desikachar

Curriculum:

• Yoga Asana, alignment & sequencing
• Yoga philosophy & history
• Anatomy useful to yoga instructors
• Pranayama and meditation techniques
• Chair Yoga Training
• Yoga ethics and the business of yoga

In this course you will learn to:
• Lead students safely in & out of yoga postures
• Create meaningful themes that deepen your students' yoga experience
• Use clear & concise language skills
• Give effective verbal & hands-on adjustments
• Modifications of yoga poses

What to Bring to Class:
• Your own yoga sticky mat
• Writing materials for note taking
• Water bottle
• Meditation cushion for sitting if desired (optionally, you may sit on props or chairs provided)
• Wear comfortable clothing in layers
• Studio supplies blankets, yoga straps, blocks and many other props.

Acceptance into the program is based on approval of your application.

This Yoga Alliance certified teacher training meets approximately once a month on:
Fridays 5:30-8:30pm
Saturdays 8:30am-5:00pm
Sundays 9:30am-4:00pm

Tuition & Payments:

Application fee: $100 (non-refundable and due no later than 01/15/24)

Tuition: $2650

EARLY BIRD SPECIAL

$100 Application Fee is Waived if you pay tuition in full by January 8, 2024

Monthly Payment Plan Option: If you are unable to pay the full tuition up-front, we offer a monthly payment plan of $295/mth for 10 months on the 15th of every month beginning January 15, 2023 with a final payment on October 15, 2024. The non-refundable application fee of $100 is due no later than January 15, 2024.

Certification:
Students who complete all the requirements of the Blissworks Yoga Teacher Training will be eligible to receive a certificate of completion from Blissworks Yoga School and may apply to Yoga Alliance to become a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher.

Trish Reyburn is the owner of Blissworks Yoga & Healing Arts and an E-RYT 500 certified yoga instructor with over 20 years teaching experience. Trish began her yoga education in 1995 and became certified in 2000 through the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health. In 2008 she received another 200-hour certification in Anusara Yoga and then continued her training in that method to accumulate 500-hours through the Yoga Alliance. Trish is also a certified Holy Fire II Karuna Reiki Master as well as a Thai Yoga Massage Therapist and a Certified Holistic Health Coach. She loves sharing the gift of yoga with all interested students and is known for her enthusiasm of yoga in all its many forms.
